Norwegian/Scandinavian literature to the Book Buffet

At the convention in Oslo, we will reserve special spots for books of Norwegian and Scandinavian authors translated to English and other languages. We have already started collecting:-)

13 books that Norwegian bookcrosser zimort has already collected and plan to bring to the convention in Oslo April 2017.

So far, Jostein Gaarder is on the top of the list. If you dont know him; Jostein Gaarder is a Norwegian author of several novels, short stories and children’s books. Also an intellectual, Gaarder is best known for writing books from a child’s perspective often using metafiction, writing stories within stories. His claim to fame is his book Sophie’s World: A Novel about the History of Philosophy (1991) which has been translated into fifty-three languages and produced over thirty million copies.
